Remembrance Day Luncheon
Join us on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at our Administration Building (200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC) for a Remembrance Luncheon—a time to gather, reflect, and find comfort in community, whether your loss is recent or many years ago. The gathering will feature a light lunch, music, a time of reflection, and a special Remembrance Activity, so please bring a 5×7 photo of the loved one you wish to honor. RSVP by August 9th to reserve your spot by calling 336-475-5444.
Ride for Angels
Mark your calendars for October 17th for our Annual Ride for Angels! This signature community event invites motorcycle enthusiasts to hit the road in a powerful display of support for the patients and families served by Alderwood. Full event details are currently being finalized, so check back soon to learn how you can join the ride and support our mission!
Annual Professional Conference on Grief & Loss: Loss in the Margins
Join Alderwood of Davidson County on Thursday, October 22 (9 AM – 3 PM) in person at Davidson-Davie Community College in Thomasville, NC. Featuring keynote speaker Dr. Laura Wheat, PhD, LPC/MHSP, this year’s conference explores secondary loss, underserved populations, and practical applications for supporting individuals experiencing disenfranchised and marginalized grief. Registration is $50 and offers 5 Continuing Education Hours.
