The Supernova Awards
A supernova is a brilliant burst of light that radiates incredible energy—a perfect description of the exceptional care our staff provides every single day at Alderwood of Davidson County. Driven by our Employee Recognition Committee (ERC), the Supernova Employee Award acknowledges team members who consistently exceed expectations. Each month, winners are selected by the committee from peer nominations.

Kristen Chafin, Director of People and Facility Operations
Recognized for her extraordinary leadership on a recent critical agency project.
Kristen took the reins on a massive initiative that directly impacted multiple internal departments and external vendors. Without her strategic oversight and execution, this project would not have been possible. Kristen goes above and beyond every single day, and this achievement truly highlighted her exceptional talents in facilities planning, time management, and comprehensive project coordination.

Ashley Walters BSN, CHPN, Medical Services Nurse Coordinator
Recognized for her exceptional support and teamwork.
When our weekend nursing coverage faced a 12-week vacancy, Ashley stepped forward to cover the position for six weeks. Her willingness to take on these shifts provided vital relief to the rest of the team and ensured our weekend operations continued smoothly.

Phoenix Rodarte, Home Care CNA
Recognized for his outstanding dedication to our patients and our mission.
Phoenix brings an incredible blend of genuine kindness, deep compassion, and a strong work ethic to our team, frequently receiving well-deserved compliments from patients and families alike. In addition to providing top-tier care in his primary role, Phoenix is a wonderful team player who consistently goes above and beyond, gladly assisting at the Hinkle House whenever extra support is needed.
