Remembrance Day Luncheon
Join us on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at our Administration Building (200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC) for a Remembrance Luncheon—a time to gather, reflect, and find comfort in community, whether your loss is recent or many years ago. The gathering will feature a light lunch, music, a time of reflection, and a special Remembrance Activity, so please bring a 5×7 photo of the loved one you wish to honor. RSVP by August 9th to reserve your spot by calling 336-475-5444.
Ride for Angels
Join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 8:30 AM for the 19th Annual Ride for Angels, a motorcycle ride that brings our community together for day of purpose, memories, and hope. This year, we are excited to announce a new starting location for this year’s 19th Annual Ride: South Davidson High School. Early registration is $20 and ends October 14, 2026.
Annual Professional Conference on Grief & Loss: Loss in the Margins
Join Alderwood of Davidson County on Thursday, October 22 (9 AM – 3 PM) in person at Davidson-Davie Community College in Thomasville, NC. Featuring keynote speaker Laura Wheat, PhD, LPC/MHSP, NCC, this year’s conference explores loss in underserved populations and practical applications for supporting individuals experiencing disenfranchised and marginalized grief. Registration is $50 and offers 5 NBCC Approved CEUs.
