Alderwood of Davidson County (formerly Hospice of Davidson County) has been named a 2026 MatrixCare Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Honors Award recipient. MatrixCare is a leading provider of CAHPS and bereavement survey programs for home health and hospice agencies.
The Hospice CAHPS Honors annual program shines a spotlight on high-performing hospice agencies that continuously deliver quality care as measured by patient and caregiver experiences. This prestigious program is based on satisfaction scores by the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) and exclusively recognizes hospice agencies that have chosen to work with MatrixCare to administer their hospice surveys.

Achieving this designation requires meeting exceptionally stringent criteria. Among thousands of hospice providers nationwide and 76 certified providers in North Carolina, only 18 earned Hospice Honors or Elite status for 2026. Alderwood of Davidson County is proud to have maintained this distinction every year since 2012.
