Lexington, NC – Hospice of Davidson County is proud to announce its upcoming Annual Golf Tournament, to be held on Thursday, April 16, at Sapona Golf, Swim and Tennis Club. This community-focused event will bring together local businesses, supporters, and golf enthusiasts for a day of camaraderie and friendly competition — all while Teeing Up Care When It Matters Most.
Proceeds from the tournament directly support the expert clinical care and support services provided to individuals facing serious illness, as well as grief counseling, Veteran recognition programs, and community education initiatives. As a nonprofit organization, Alderwood of Davidson County relies on the generosity of the community to continue serving patients and families with excellence and dignity.
“Our annual Golf Tournament is more than a day on the course,” said Ashley Milam, Marketing Manager for Alderwood of Davidson County. “It is an opportunity for our community to come together in support of those navigating serious illness and the important decisions that accompany that journey. Every sponsorship and every player help ensure that compassionate care remains accessible to those who need it most.”
The event will feature a 4-person, no-handicap Captain’s Choice format with morning and afternoon flights. Shotgun starts are 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Participants will enjoy on-course contests and the opportunity to take home the coveted green jackets.
